What is - The You Are Loved Campaign?

THE YOU ARE LOVED CAMPAIGN

Object: I became very passionate about the topic of the  dignity of women. It amazes me how many women do NOT know their worth.This campaign is to inspire and encourage women of all ages to know who God truly made women to be. We are GOOD enough. Not only are we good enough, but the beauty that we each bear is a true and perfect creation of God. You are A BEAUTY TO BE UNVEILED. I get to the part where I think of  the true worth each and every girl embodies.  It needs to be explained to them that they are good enough just the way they are. That YOU ARE LOVED. Not only are they good enough, but the beauty that they each bear is a true and perfect creation of God. Young women either have never heard that message before or it has been far too long since someone has said it to them.

On Fashion: Girls who already know that they want to dress modestly are looking at the recourses and searching for fashion inspiration that follows their way. Girls who are not looking to dress modestly are not looking to modest fashion resources. They are going to the popular main stream fashion that they have. Respectful Style isn’t relatable or accesable. No one nice and fun is going towards covering up. The fun girls aren’t. I want to show that real girls are doing this. That is is stylish and makes you more confident in your own skin.

Personal: There is a deep desire in everyone’s heart to be loved. To gain that attention. It’s easier to get that attention through the body. Because the body is such a sacred vessel it’s noticed. That’s how God made us. Little do people know the even greater satisfaction is in keeping it veiled. Keeping your treasure special and keeping and making known its worth. I once tried on this small black top. I had just started getting into harder exercise plans. So my body was changingfast. I was curious and I saw the top and I tried it on. It was a crop top. I came to the mirror and I started  to feel really emotional. Because I really liked the way it fit me. I didn’t cry because I liked the way it fit me but because I saw all my worth right there in the open. And I started scrambling for my shirt again, wanting to cover myself immediately. It was something not needing to be so open. That my beauty was from within and I wanted that to be seen first, before my body. With this top that wasn’t going to happen. THAT’S what Modest Fashion is.

Why is this important?: Society is changing. I hate to say that people are choosing their selfish desires which just lead to destruction. I truly feel with the change in women of their worth would change society. 

Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen said, “ To a great extent the level of any civilization is the level of it’s womanhood. When a man loves a woman, he has to become worthy of her. The higher her virtue, the more her character, the more devoted she is to the truth, justice, goodness, to more a man has to aspire to be worthy of her. The history of civilization could actually be written in terms of the level of it’s women.”
